This Apothecary / Haberdashery cabinet is from Colonial Revival period of furniture making. It has been tastefully refreshed for the modern era, but maintains its vintage charm. I personally crafted the Walnut top and base trim for this piece. The top is built from solid hardwood, including bookmatched, premium Grade A walnut veneer over solid maple as well as solid walnut breadboards. I also crafted the solid walnut plinth-style trim that wraps the bottom of the cabinet. The walnut itself shows beautiful grain movement, with soft cathedral figuring and rich heartwood tones that mirror the top above. That repetition creates visual symmetry from floor to crown, giving the piece a cohesive, custom-built appearance.
